The voices of Arab and Muslim leaders are escalating as they condemn Israel and warn of the dire consequences of their actions. Iranian and Saudi foreign ministers met today during an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah.

🇸🇦 Saudi FM Bin Farhan to Iranian FM Abdollahian:
✅ Israel's attacks on Gaza must be stopped as soon as possible, and support must be given to the Palestinian people.
✅ We will continue our efforts in this direction.

🇮🇷 Iranian FM Abdollahian to Saudi FM Bin Farhan:
✅ "American citizens advise other countries to exercise restraint, but they themselves stand with the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people."
✅ The situation in the region could become uncontrollable; hence, timing is crucial.

🇯🇴 Meanwhile, Jordan's foreign minister stated today:
✅ "Any attempt by Israel to forcibly expel Palestinian residents means war for Jordan."
✅ This is surprising given Jordan's close relationship with Israel since they normalized ties in 1994.

🇪🇬 A similar rhetoric came from Egyptian President Sisi, who declared:

✅ Peace with Jordan and Egypt is crucial for Israel's security in the modern era.

🇹🇷 Turkish Foreign Minister and former intelligence chief Hakan Fidan said:

Another significant meeting: Iran and the largest Muslim country, Indonesia.

🇮🇩 Indonesian Foreign Minister held bilateral discussions with the Iranian FM in Jeddah (18/10) and conveyed the same view that Israeli aggression and occupation in Palestinian territory must cease immediately.
