The impact of heavy rain accompanied by strong winds in the next 2-3 days will apply to NTT, and could spread to NTB and Bali.

Hurricane Otis, went from a tropical storm to a Category 5 hurricane within 24 hours.

The pressure dropped from ~1000mb to 923mb (-77mb).

Wind speed intensified from 55 knots to 145 knots, an increase of 90 knots, which is approximately 165 km/h, within 24 hours.

Usually, Rapid Intensification is around 30 knots/24h, but this one is 90 knots. Crazy!

Convective activity is visible on the Southwest side of the cyclone center, with very wide outflow and the presence of a growing secondary convective core.
