Israeli airstrikes hit al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City, where thousands of civilians sought medical care and shelter from relentless attacks.

The Gaza Ministry of Health reported at least 500 casualties in the hospital explosion. A UN-managed school housing refugees was also affected.
